Tonight I had the pleasure of dining at Coya's Cafe for the first time. My only regret is not getting there sooner. I will be a regular. First, the place was neat and clean, and decorated so quaintly. My friend and I went to try their popular Saturday special, Birria Tacos, but unfortunately they were sold out, which i dont doubt due to the amount of business shuffling through their door. Instead of the Birria, at the recommendation of the owner, we tried the Steak Tacos. We were NOT disappointed. We enjoyed a meal of some of the finest tacos either of us had ever had the pleasure of consuming. The food was fresh, a fantastic blend of fine meat and just the right amount of spices. I must add, the salsa verde complimented the meat to perfection. Even before being told their items were all hand crafted in house, we could tell from the quality and attention in preperation. I truly appreciated the experience. To top off a fantastic meal, the Tres Leches cake with strawberries was a pure delight to the palate. I highly recommend this Quad City treasure, its one of the best, and we have many wonderful Mexican Cuisine restaurants to be proud of here. I am excited to visit again, and eagerly awaiting the new location. I'd wish them luck, but honestly, luck has little to do with their success. Hard work, diligent attention to quality, dedication, and just plain ol' great food, comfortable atmosphere, and good service is what makes this place a success. My only complaint was the seating area was cold. But it is winter, and it is a small building. Im sure that issue will be resolved in the new location.

This is a cute little unique find. Its a small café with a few tables and chairs. They have a variety of menu items, both what you would see at most Mexican restaurants as well as many unique and modern things. There is something for everyone! Portions are generous. Place is vibrant and clean. Service is good. Open late too!

We just discovered this place this last weekend as I was looking for just a small meal for take out, of some Queso Birra Tacos and I found this spot on a Google search for highly-rated birra tacos near me. This place had All good reviews about All if their foods from what I could see And their Menu looked very Vast with the choices they had to offer! Almost Every popular, Mexican dish, and even desserts, you could want! That looked Exciting! The place is actually in Moline so across the Mississippi River from where we were in Davenport, Iowa, but not too far at all. The place is small but very cute and Very popular as there were cars and people just coming in and out constantly from this place, And a good line inside so that was a good sign that we had found just the kind of Mexican spot I was looking for! The service was Friendly and Attentive to myself and everyone else that came up in there that I could see. There menu was quite Vast so we're gunna have to go back when we can for sure! Mi esposo, my hubby just got some of their carné asada tacos and I got an order or Queso Birra ones and also a whole Eloté on the stick And a piece of amazing looking Tres Leches, Strawberry Cake for us to share. It waa huge! Everything was Muy Delicioso Im telling y'all! I promise! I recommend this olace for sure to try out whenever you're in the Quad Cities area!

Had an excellent meal with my Wife at Coya's! Everything was made fresh and we enjoyed some Jaritos soda bottles while we waited for our orders. The place is not very large, but most customers seem to do a pickup or get theirs to go so we had no problem finding a place to sit. There are also a variety of very tempting desserts and things that are displayed in the coolers to choose from. Our portions were fair for the price, but I could have ate more. Should have ordered the Burrito instead of the Torta even though it was a damn good Steak Torta I could have made accommodations for a second . Coya's is one of the best local spots ive ever been to get some authentic Mexican food and there is no doubt ill be frequenting here when I am in the area.

The BEST Mexican I’ve had since I was in Mexico! Super large portions, breakfast all day, authentic and affordable. The divorciados were fresh with steaming fresh tortillas. Only place for Mexican breakfast I will venture, definitely Qc’s finest.

Had to try the birra tacos that are only available on Saturday, they did not disappoint! Super meaty tacos and full of flavor. We also tried the Hot Cheeto elote which was also delicious. Everything that I have ever had at Coya's has always been 5 stars. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the QC by far!

Coyas Cafe in Moline has very good food and a beautiful interior with great art and decorations. Unfortunately, it’s way too cold to dine inside during the winter. It was 4 degrees outside and felt almost the same indoors, with my hands freezing and even a ceiling fan running. The food is great, but they should really do something about the temperature because it’s nearly impossible to eat comfortably inside right now.

Food was great and the 3 of us didn't have to wait long. We went on a Saturday at noon, it was not at all crowded but it was a cold day and the small sit down area of the restaurant was cold! I DO recommend Coya's but wear a coat or heavy sweater if you go in winter.
